Promote & inform on the benefits of volunteering

Project team 2 are focused on raising the profile of volunteering in South Australia to ensure all facets of the community have a greater understanding of the benefits of volunteering in the community. The goal is to encourage greater participation and to increase the minimum rate to at least 70%.

Project Team Two aims to:

  • evaluate volunteer supply and demand to support resilient communities
  • address issues such as shortage of volunteers, marginal groups being under – represented or people from diverse backgrounds facing barriers to inclusions.
